SnapFont ("we", "our", or "us") turns a photo of your handwriting into a personal font. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email.
- Handwriting Images: The template sheet photos you capture, plus the processed versions (per-letter images, vector outlines, and generated font files).
- Subscription State: Whether your account is Free or Pro, as reported by RevenueCat.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version, used for abuse prevention (App Check) and crash reporting.
- Notification Token: If you allow notifications, a push token for this device, used only to tell you when a font is ready. Turn notifications off in your phone's Settings to stop them.
- Usage Data: Anonymous statistics about feature usage that help us improve the app.
How We Use Your Information
- Turn your handwriting photos into letters and font files.
- Store your projects and fonts so you can access them across sessions and devices.
- Manage your subscription state.
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and technical issues.
- Improve the app with anonymous usage insight.
Data Storage
Your sheet photos, per-letter images, vector files, and generated fonts are stored in Firebase Storage under your authenticated account. Project metadata lives in Firebase Firestore. Everything is tied to your account and protected by security rules.

- Firebase App Check: abuse prevention.
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: usage analytics and crash reporting.

This Website
snapfont.ai uses DataFast, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use advertising cookies and does not identify you personally.
No Selling or Advertising
We never sell, rent, or trade your handwriting data or personal information. We do not train AI models on your handwriting. Your samples are used solely to produce your fonts.
Data Security
We protect your information with Firebase security rules, App Check attestation on server calls, and authenticated access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children's Privacy
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can delete it.
Your Rights
- Access the data associated with your account.
- Delete your account and every associated file from Profile, using Delete Account Data.
- Manage or cancel your subscription from your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post material changes in the app and on this page.
